Autosport Performance was founded in 1994 with the goal of becoming Bergen Counties Finest European Automobile Repair Center. In order to achieve our goal we understood this would require us to have a different organization and business philosophy from most ordinary auto repair shops. Our focus requires many specialized tools that most shops can't afford for occasional repairs. Many European manufacturers develop specialized Scanners and other Diagnostic and Testing equipment that must be kept up to date to service the latest engines.

All of this specialized equipment is worthless without properly trained and Certified Technicians to use it to service your car. Our Technicians are Certified to work on engines that are designed to operate in extremes. This knowledge does not come easily nor is it taught in schools. For these reasons you will find our technicians are not young men, they are seasoned veterans with experience counted in decades. The combined experience of our Technical Staff is over 75 years. Which means that you can be assured when we tell you, "we have seen your problem before"-we actually mean, "we have repaired your problem before."

Our clients have found that many repair shops don't stock parts for their European cars. AutoSport operates differently because we stock many of the commonly used items our car's owners will need. In fact because we maintain such a large inventory of parts many other shops and even the dealers will come to us for parts.

This different philosophy in European Automobile Care has truly succeeded. Our customers trust us and recommend us to their friends. Other repair shops and even car dealerships recommend us to their customers, too. Often our customers have come to us as the "Mechanics of Last Resort." Others have tried and failed to fix a problem that we are able to resolve. Regardless of the reason others couldn't fix their problems, our customers now know that we will do it right the first time.
